MINGORA: Five female students of a government-run primary school sustained injuries when the gun of a watchman went off accidentally in the Madian area of Swat district on Thursday, official sources said.
They said that girl students of the Government Primary School in Madian were busy in their study when the school watchman’s gun went off mistakenly As a result, five student sustained injuries. The injured were identified to be Shabnam Bibi, Neelam Bibi, Arina Bibi, Madina Bibi and Safia Bibi. They were shifted to a hospital in Madian from where they were moved to the Saidu Sharif Hospital.
The hospital said that the students were out of danger. The police took the watchman into custody who was later released after the children’s parents forgave him.
