The recent devastating floods in various parts of Pakistan, particularly in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, have severely affected the lives of millions of people.
With homes destroyed, transportation disrupted, and a lack of basic necessities, citizens are facing extreme hardships. During this natural calamity, the examinations being conducted in the NCA and several other educational institutions cannot be attended by a large number of students on time. Under such circumstances, holding these examinations would add further distress and injustice to the affected families and students and may even cause them to lose an academic year.
Citizens have strongly appealed to the administration, the Minister of Education, and other relevant authorities to postpone all such examinations for a few days in light of this humanitarian crisis. Such a step will not only ensure fairness for the affected students but will also reflect the institutions’ sense of social responsibility and compassion. We hope that the NCA, along with all other institutions, will uphold their noble traditions and immediately announce the postponement of all examinations, keeping in view the difficulties faced by students and their families.
