ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and members of the parliament on Wednesday welcomed Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the speaker’s gallery to witness proceedings of the joint session.
“It is for the information of the House that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto is present in the gallery. He is welcomed to witness the proceedings,” Sardar Ayaz Sadiq announced.
Bilawal Bhutto remained present in the gallery during speeches of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and National Assembly’s Opposition Leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah. The members of the parliament warmly welcomed Bilawal Bhutto as it was his first ever presence in the parliament galleries to witness the proceedings.
